As you will know, we complete our database updates quarterly, in line with data releases from LINZ and NZ Post.
However, when LINZ started producing the AIMS Street Address Set and deprecated the NZ Street Address (Electoral) Set, their releases were adjusted to weekly rather than quarterly.
As these releases are more frequent the changes have been minor but we monitor them to check for significant changes in the data. One such release occurred in July with the addition of 43,442 new addresses in a the single update.
As a result, we ran an interim update in order to continue to provide a current and up-to-date database. Our next update will still occur in October as scheduled but in the mean time our address database climbs to nearly 2.5 million validated addresses.
